Montreal’s annual celebration of Canadian design is back for its third edition, in a magical, minimalist setting imagined by Mercredi Studio. Part design fair and part art installation, Studio offers local design lovers the space to discover exclusive furniture, lighting and more—and to meet with emerging creatives in Canadian design.
This year’s exhibition runs for three days (June 13-15) at 6250 Hutchison, and is open to the public as well as design professionals. In addition, a special installation curated by Mercredi Studio’s Laura Caron and Audrey Andrade Garcia will open at Corridor, Lambert & Fils’ new exhibition space neighbouring their offices and atelier. The installation will remain on view at the gallery in the weeks following its debut at Studio.
Studio’s third edition also marks a new collaboration between Studio director Laurence Gélinas and the Canadian Collective of Creators—a new organization spearheaded by Claste, Atelier Zébulon Perron and Lambert & Fils.
Corridor is an exhibition space in Montreal founded by Lambert & Fils. Its mandate is to showcase projects that challenge the intersection between design and artistic practices, while fostering connections between Montreal and international communities. It’s a space for creators, thinkers, and producers who are pushing the boundaries of art and design. It' s a space for exhibitions, talks, and exchanges by influential designers and artists from Montreal and around the world.
